Hydrogen has been a center of massive investigations in the last year due to civilization challenges for application of clean energy fossil fuels. Mass production of hydrogen is preceded commonly by electrolysis, thermolysis and photolysis of hydrocarbons.
During technology evolution Graphene Light Project transformed its original ideas to develop the new method of hydrogen generation. The technological biggest challenge is to prepare a scalable, high efficiency hydrogen splitting method from water, alcohols, or waste by irradiation with CW infrared laser diodes of graphene scaffold immersed in dedicated solution (fuel) – Laser Induced Graphene Hydrogen Technologies – LIGHT. Our generators use optimized graphene as synergetic catalytic nano-material dedicated to low energy hydrogen production. Hydrogen production was extremely efficient using a light as energy excitation method. The efficiency of hydrogen production increased exponentially with CW laser power.
